From November, 'Amaya' was reportedly given an extension until January 2012

MANILA, Philippines – In lieu of grand Christmas vacation plans this year, couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes are hoping to fly to Las Vegas next month to watch the Manny Pacquiao vs. Juan Manuel Marquez fight.

So tingnan natin,” Rivera related in a taped interview aired on “24 Oras,” Sept. 29.

Rivera and Pacquiao were co-stars in the sitcom, “Show Me Da Manny.”

Meanwhile, the third boxing match between the two fighters will be held at the MGM Grand on Nov. 12.

According to the report, Rivera would be busy during the holidays due to the filming of her 2011 Metro Manila Film Festival entry, “Ang Panday 2” with Sen. Bong Revilla, and her primetime series “Amaya,” which was reportedly extended until January next year.

Rivera proudly related that the director and writers of “Amaya” make it a point to meet every week “para alamin kung papano pa mas pagagandahin ‘yung storya.”

So kami, talagang pinag-iisipan,” she said.

Rivera is also grateful to star alongside Revilla for the first time in one of the local film industry’s most popular film franchises.
